For some time now, There has been a lot of conflict going on over in Syria.  Most of the fighting this going on is between the Syrian Rebels and is over territory.  All of this violence is happening in Syria's capital Damascus.  "The violence in both Damascus and Palmyra came as the head of the main Syrian opposition alliance, Moaz al-Khatib, said his offer of talks with the government would be withdrawn unless women prisoners were released by Sunday."  Its interesting seeing rebels fight for women to be released from prison.  I feel like its odd to hear about men in the middle east fighting for women.
