The above article describes a the background of a teenager in Pakistan who took on the Taliban, promoting her belief of girls receiving proper education. Starting at age eleven she was part of a documentary, Class Dismissed, with her family to show everyone the world that they live in. Due to her actions and standing up for her beliefs, she was hunted down by the Taliban and was shot in the head. Surviving the shooting Malala is still a growing symbol for women's right to education.
I find that the actions of Malala are relevant to the class due to the beginning of making a documentary, and for sticking up for her beliefs throughout everything that she was put through. The world knows about her and her bravery.
