"Palestinian killed in Gaza, Israel denies involvement" -Reuters
This article, published just today, has received some buzz around the internet. Palestinians are accusing Israeli soldiers of firing upon and killing a farmer near the border between Gaza and Israel. An Israeli military spokeswoman stated that there was no relation between the event and the Israeli army. This marks one of three Palestinian deaths along the border since the eight day heated exchange that occurred back in November.
I chose this article for two reasons. First, it directly relates to our course. This is one of the main conflicts that drives the course. This article shows that the conflict between the two is still present, as this article was posted today (14th). The second reason this article is important is to note the tense nature of the subject. Following November's clash, this blame game seems to come through clenched teeth.
